Customize the Spacing

As you know, the HTML record labels indent each record product by standard. Unfortunately, the actual quantity of that indent does differ a bit according to the technique. Fortunately, there are CSS qualities for changing the indent. Two qualities side and cushioning in particular impact the place around each product in your record, and around the record in common.

When connected to the ul or ol tag, the side home impacts the place around the entire record. But when it is used with the li tag instead, the side home varies the place around each individual record product.

The cushioning home requires the quantity of buffer-space around the textual content in the record product, before the side of the record product is achieved. Take a look at the following designs to help picture how this works (first, I’ll show you a visible manifestation of a record with some extra place, then the value used to make that example).

It is worth noting that whenever you change the space around your details and list items, you must analyze your pages in Online Traveler and another standards-compliant internet browser like Chrome or Opera. Unfortunately, Online Traveler 6 and 7 have had trouble properly showing details with changed space. IE 8 guarantees to fix this situation, but until the majority of your website visitors no longer use IE 6 or 7, you are going to need to value and analyze for both surfers.
