I’ve already described the expression “style sheets” a few times, but have not really given them a full description yet. Aspect of the reason is that design linens were not really a component of HTML until it was rewritten as XHTML. The objective of flowing design linens (abbreviated CSS) is to individual the design of a website from its articles.
The present HTML “rules” determine that we only use HTML to recognize the articles of the site, and then use a design piece to specify the display of that articles. This not only makes websites more available and useful to all customers (regardless of their surfers, techniques, techniques, actual restrictions, and so forth), but also to google and other types of software.
